TEK4VALUE and Polimi Applied for Patent

On March, 2008 TEK4VALUE and Politecnico di Milano - Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione applied for a patent developed in the frame of our contract "Analysis and Development of algorithm for the attitude estimation of maritime vehicles".

The patent application describes an innovative methodology for the accurate measurement of the vessel heading angle derived from the integration of digital compass and single antenna GPS data.

The results of this research will lead up to a new class of vessels attitude measurement products for maritime applications characterized by a single antenna GPS and great compactness.
